Served as Executive Director of MLK Boston, leading The Boston Foundation’s initiative to create a memorial honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King in Boston.
Objective:
Advance a citywide vision of justice and unity by mobilizing civic, philanthropic, and community leadership to fund and realize the MLK Boston Memorial.
Strategy:
Directed fundraising, partnership development, and community engagement; collaborated with artists, city officials, and stakeholders to ensure the project’s design and implementation reflected the spirit and legacy of the Kings.
